As a kid I was very good at academics. I always visualized while I learnt and I had a really good memory. Digging into the topic of how to remember more and learn things faster, retain them more, I come across visualising things and linking them to some absurd memories as the most powerful tool for remembering things such as facts. Conclusion: We are all great artists and geniuses as kids. "Growing up" (the art of teaching you how to behave sober and quiet in public) and a rat race based system of education where they focus on making you learn than teaching you how to learn puts big locks on your brain. The system only focuses on making you remember the facts than making you think, and at the end of the year judging you on basis of how many facts you can remember. There is no room for art or your creativity. If you try to be creative you will be classified as "mediocre", and if you resist then you will be classified as "indisciplined" and get detained. We are all born geniuses but its the faulty education system that ruins us. #rant
