As a kid in the 70s i recall waking up Christmas Day once and it was 70 degrees plus. On the radio that day, i heard the weather person say its warmer in Potomac/DC on Xmas day than in Hawaii. Seems odd, but true. I played outside on that day in shorts and a T shirt when i was 7 or 8 years old. As shocking as that seems now ... Waking up today on March 26th in 2014 in Potomac/DC and the Temp is 25 degrees is so much more shocking. A Chill like this can drain you. Its getting to me!!! I rarely wear a jacket in winter. I usually just wear layers and people see me and shake their heads as they walk buy. I have my reasons for doing this, but im so done with this cold weather ... And rarely seen sunshine. How do they deal with this in North Dakota? Wisconsin? Montreal? Year after year!? Bring on temps in the 90s and high humidity!! Please!! That is all!
