As a long time Ravens fan I feel I must say I have been saying since February Ray Rice should be in Jail! That said it must be pointed out that justice is blind and broken! Because it amazes me how many want this to be about the Ravens, NFL ......No the Sad thing is the prosecutors didnt put him in jail! But did anyone even care or notice about the 49ers player Ray McDonald playing still this past Sunday for 49ers though he is accused of doing far worse than just punching his woman! Floyd Maywether has been accused of abusing four wives and convicted and served 13 months in jail because he almost killed one wife...yet this weekend $46 of the $70 dollars charged on PPV this weekend goes to him... He is allowed to still box???? How??? It is not nor do I ever want the employers job to investigate domestic abuse and be judge and jury and in fact the NFL because of the CBA with NFLPA until this week it has always been a two game suspension thats it! In fact Many times in past its been nothing like most regular employers! Ben Rotheslibeger got nothing for accused rape and assault on a woman in a bathroom... and lying about it! Our courts and legal system continue to fail even when there is video! The first video was enough for me to put Ray Rice in jail but not enough for our justice system apparently. Domestic violence is a serious issue in our country and this should not ever be about the Rivalries, Ravens, NFL , 49ers, it is about a man savagely beating a woman! And how it depends on who he is, his finances, race, his status, and profession, wether he gets away with it! As a Christian I believe in forgiveness but...
