As a makeup artist I think there is a misunderstanding of the artistry behind makeup... Its the art of being made up, Hence the word... Duh!!! 😳 Theres nothing authentic about wearing makeup. In some cases it enhances and in some cases it totally transforms. True Beauty has nothing to do with makeup. Makeup is applied, true beauty is within and radiates outward. Wearing Makeup has absolutely nothing to do with low self esteem. 😂 In fact, some of you throwing shade about people who wear makeup have low self esteem NEED to wear some makeup your darn self. #Girlbye We need to understand the difference and dont be so quick to point out how unauthentic someone is just because they wear makeup. None of us are Au naturale as we claim to be. If thats the case stop bathing with soap, stop brushing your teeth with toothpaste, stop using deodorant and perfume , stop polishing your nails and toes, stop washing your hair, stop wearing weaves, and stop wearing clothes. I LOVE MAKEUP and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way my clients feel and look when Im done dolling them up. Does it change who they are? Nope! Does it change their personality? Nope! Does it make them feel good? Yep! Does it make me feel good? Yep! Was the mission (to enhance their look for an occasion or just because) accomplished? HECK YAY!!! So dont you dont sit there on your high and mighty horse with your non-made up face looking down at those of us who choose to play with colors and paint our canvases to our liking. Because at the end of the day, the very same horse that you are sitting on loves to gets its mane brushed and braided, and in the process you just might fall off. With that said your first makeup appointment is complimentary...
