As a man who is also a believer in Christ: I have things that I want to do. I have things that I need to do. God has things that He wants me to do. God knows my deepest need and He alone can provide them for me, His child. I willingly make a choice every day. I can either drive my own life...or...focus on the latter two statements. I will only be fully happy and supremely satisfied when I completely surrender to Gods plan for my life and opt out of my own desires. I am limited in my ability to make adequate and accurate decisions for 2015 but God sees the past, present, and future~all in one concept of time. He knows the way before me and is trustworthy as proven in the past. God is faithful and true. He is a gracious heavenly Father. He cares for and provides everything that I could ever hope for or dream of. He knows me outside in and inside out, and loves me. Nothing. Absolutely no earthly acclaim, sports trophy, business success, or any other earthly goal will ever replace the glorious majesty of His Presence in our lives! As we stand in the shadow of the old year and glance timidly into a darkened new one, I encourage you to place your hand into His as we step boldly forward into the Light of His sovereign will and safe keeping!
