As a mother you always want the best for your children...I have been struggling for months about Quinns speech for I felt like she was behind and though all of those around her could understand her and many would tell me she would grow out of it and how cute it was, deep down I knew she deserved more and I wanted to hear the opinion from a professional. So today we met with a fantastic group based at Stable Spirit in Rose City and had Quinn officially evaluated. When the therapist told me that she definitely had delays and would need therapy I was happy and sad...sad because you never want your child to be different but happy that I have answers, a group whom is ready to help her and made me feel like a mom who was doing the right thing vs what some have made me feel. When it comes to my children there is not a dollar amount, time I wouldnt give or mountains I wont climb to do what is best for them now and for their future! I love her so much and look forward to my sweet girl talking like a big girl that she feels she is!
