As a new member to the party, I was keen to find out more about Pippa Bartolotti, as she is the leader of my regional party and she is being challenged for that position right now. It didn’t take me long to realize that she should have been challenged long ago. Are there no people monitoring what these people say and do on our behalf? I have been quite shocked at what I have found. Even before she was leader, she was appearing on TV screens spouting implausible nonsense about herself. Watch this: youtube/watch?v=k0D0yyoTqs8#t=14 All power to her for getting involved in supporting the Gaza protests, but does she seriously expect anyone to believe she managed to slip through Israeli Airport security and stand around being interviewed on TV with security personnel all over the shop. Even the interviewer clearly has her doubts. As for the look at me, yeh, look at me bits, it is clear that the woman is a lying narcissist. Of course, at this point, Pippa was detached from her flytilla comrades, so she has to find a way to join up with them in detention. This appears to work: youtube/watch?v=bK0ODXAENUg Hilarious!! She clearly didnt slip through at all; she must have been entitled to go through. But why lie about it? According to the Swansea Action for Palestine website, Ms Bartolotti, has lived in Israel for seven years. swanseapalestine.org/2011/07/4-welsh-women-are-only-uk-citizens.html I couldnt care less if this is true or not, but it would explain how she slipped through as she would have been eligible for Israeli citizenship after 5 years of residency. Still, no crime committed and good work on many levels. Good work somewhat undone by allowing herself to be photographed with the flag of the Syrian Socialist National Party; known fascists. Pippa obviously loves the spotlight and courting controversy, and reaps it in bucket loads. Seriously. It seems astonishing that she had such an inflated opinion of herself to think she should be leader of GPEW when she has achieved nothing of note in Wales as far as I can see. On the hustings trail back then she did herself no favours with this attempt at discussing racism, at the GPEW leadership hustings in Manchester: youtube/watch?v=eI-T55k7KIw Thankfully I am told she binned this parody of a welsh racist for the hustings in Cardiff, but instead revealed that her no.1 Political Hero is that well-known Green, Winston Churchill!!! It is obvious that some people have an intense dislike of this woman from what you find online. She has at least been busy trying to clear up some of the more damaging stuff out there it seems, but because she has so many enemies they keep it out there to haunt her. Now about this on education: From the age of 2 all children would go to small neighbourhood pre schools at no charge - with no get-out clause for anyone rich or poor. They would get 3 meals a day plus a snack to take home. Parents would then be free to work, the resultant tax income contributing to the cost of extra schooling. If parents chose to fulfil the prophesy of multi generational laziness their benefits would be replaced by vouchers which could only be spent in one place. Training for parents would be available. Simultaneously, older children missing the initial introduction to greater equality and wider socialisation would be filtered into age groups, and at key teenage years boys and girls would be educated separately to save them from their own silliness. There would be a progressive and staged education system delivered by hands-on experienced trainers, quite possibly from the armed forces - who are exemplary trainers, but who currently train for the wrong thing - but also from all walks of life. I thought I was reading a UKIP manifesto, not a Green Party leader! Her views on comprehensive education are also interesting, she apparently did very badly at school. No surprise there at least! I am shocked nobody has seen fit to challenge her before. A lot of older people...are racist.“They don’t mean to be, they aren’t going out of their way to be, but they are, because that whole generation is. And this is the generation that gets out and votes. So, it is a bit of an issue in that sense.” This is the generation we were honouring for their fight against fascists in two world wars last weekend. Such stereotyping of a whole generation like that disgusts me to my core and has no place in a progressive party like the Green Party, surely!! Even when she tries to address equality issues, she descends into narcissistic naffness. She does not seem to be being held to account for any of this (and plenty more), and rarely seems to apologise for anything as far as I can see. It is emabarrassing when she has to do so all over the papers though: walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/wales-green-party-leader-pippa-7093559 Ms Bartolotti told the launch: “I apologise for misleading.” So, having had to make an embarrassing public apology on 9th May, 2014, am I the only one appalled that she then spins the same deceits directly to all the Wales members on 12th May, 2014? Quoting from the newsletter sent out that day to a friend of mine, she encourages every member to indulge in the same deceit by sending out a suggested letter to their own local press that includes this suggested wording: In a recent ICM poll, the Green Party in Wales polled 12%, a figure which would be close to winning a seat here in Wales. Exactly the same lie she had to apologise for three days earlier, just so she can con a bit more effort out of us to boost her own profile. Utterly shameless! Thankfully we have the opportunity to get hid of this despicable woman and we should thank the lord for Andy Chyba giving us this opportunity. He has made one or two mistakes himself, upsetting the welsh language lobby, but he is a paragon of virtue and integrity next to Bartolotti! If she somehow manages to hang on as leader, then my flirtation with the Green Party may be a very short one indeed!
