As a photographer I realize I dont do the good done by doctors, lawyers, teachers and so many others, but Im also aware the visual documentation I provide for certain important moments do have an impact. So, I wanted to share this message someone just sent me following a Picture-With-Santa session I did last week at a Peru car dealership, arranged by Amanda Lynn Beckom of Mike Anderson. Just want to give you a little information of why this is so important to me, as well as the one of my daughter and I together which we didnt see on the link... this year we have had 6 deaths in our family. My Mother, My fiancé , two Uncles, two Aunts. Money is so tight right now, tighter than its ever really been. My daughter in the picture has had such a hard year as we all have but for her even more so. She dont have any Christmas spirit, and when she seen the pictures with Santa she told me she wanted to have her picture taken. Like I said money has been very tight and that was the last lil bit of money I had on me for that week but she wanted it so bad so I couldnt let this go. After the photo with Santa she told me that something told her to believe in Santa just one more year and good things will come. Now weather or not that happens with the economy who knows. But that picture when she wanted to have it done.. gave me hope... that maybe just maybe somehow she will get her Christmas spirit back. So thank you very much for making such an effort to get it to me it is truly appreciated. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
