As a photographer, this is an absolutely compelling documentary about photo-journalism and war. You must watch this. Photojournalist John G. Morris started his career as a photo editor for some of the world’s most important publications in the 1930s. He was at the legendary Life magazine during some of the most turbulent moments in the 20th Century including the Spanish Civil War, the D-Day Normandy landings, Vietnam and Korea, just to name a few. At Life as well as the New York Times, Morris was instrumental in the early years of Magnum with his friends Robert Capa and Henri Cartier Bresson. This incredibly fascinating documentary is an exploration into the life and work of photojournalists told through the lens of one of the greats. youtu.be/Ccv8BTkf8-Q
