As a practicing humanist I am keen to promote a discussion/debate on secular bioethics. There seems to be little or no interest in the HSS for discussing issues such as Eugenics, probably because the HSS wants to steer clear of matters like human enhancements, improving the gene pool, post-humanism or even trans-humanism. So, whats happening in the HSS? Can this Facebook page be the site for the raising of some controversial issues for us humanists or will there be a blanket evasion and silence about liberal eugenics here?
