As a representative of Damascus Road Ministries I wanted to say Thank you to all amazing people who made yesterdays Sanctus Real at Lenawee County Fair w/special guest Brianna Caprice event so amazing. There literally was no way we could pull off the concert without the volunteers who took days off work and gave up their day to be available to anything we needed. The compliments that I received from the lighting & sound leaders, as well as the fair leadership made me smile as big an anything else we did during the evening. So to you volunteers who lifted, pulled, created, built, hauled tables & chairs, drove stakes, drove around the country side, served filled supplies, took tickets, ran donation boxes, handed out programs, stuck wrist bands, guarded gates and everything else, I salute you and pray that God will give you rest and a sense that He used you in more ways than you even know! A special shout out to Jacki Priest for the incredible way she served Jesus & made my life easier through this concert. I know I could call out many people and probably should, but it would literally be a crime to miss any of the 100+ volunteers who helped. Please take your programs and thank our sponsors in multiple ways. They committed to support Damascus Road and this concert event more out of their desire to help than even advertising benefits, but I think its so important to support those who have supported us so selflessly. From the Presenting Sponsor, Barron Insurance & Financial Services Agency for jumping on board, to each Title, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Patron sponsor. A special thanks to my Elder Board at Ogden Church and my Lead Pastor and Friend, John Maguire for letting me take on this project. Thanks also to the bands that just blew us away with their music, but more with their hearts. Sanctus Real just blew us away with their humility and ability. Brianna Caprice couldnt have been a better warm up band..if you could even call her that! Im excited for both bands as the roll out their new CDs. God moved yesterday. There is no doubt. He moved through you all in ways that would keep any of us from taking any credit for ourselves. Yes...my friends...just the way its supposed to be.
