As a sat in the hair stylist chair this morning with my sisters, mom and daughter all sitting next to me in a row, I had already decided that I wasnt going to let anything ruin my sisters wedding day, not even if we got negative results back from the MRI Mikahila had a couple days ago. In our experience, good news takes a week or two, but bad news comes in a day or two... So my heart stopped and stomach sank seeing the Neurologists number come up on my phone while Im stuck in the stylist chair next to everyone I needed to hide this news from. But God is so gracious and merciful and gave me perhaps the best day of my life instead. Not only did I get to witness my baby sister marry the most wonderful man I could have asked for her, but God showed me that I have moments like these to look forward to in Mikhailas life as well. Hes got a great future planned for her and although her tumour is still there, he truly has healed her of its cancerous composition. No growth and no change in almost two years. Its a miracle. I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude right now. I wish everyone knew God and could experience His grace and favour the way I have today. Theres nothing like knowing the God of the universe cares for you, and has gone ahead of you in all trials and circumstances. Thank you to all of you who were praying for these MRI results. I am so incredibly thankful for you all.
