As a self confessed cricket tragic I have been devastated by the loss of Phillip Hughes. Cricket is a big part of my life, I have only just recently taken a newspaper photo of the winning Ashes team off my kitchen wall. For the couple of days that Phillip remained in hospital I could think of nothing else, even trying to write a piece of music to send to be played at his bedside. Hearing of his death shocked me greatly, I, like many millions of others was praying he would pull through. It has been both sad and heartening to see the reaction to the loss of such a fine young man and cricketer. RIP Phillip Hughes
