As a self-proclaimed art film buff, Im ashamed to say that I have, just now, seen Pulp Fiction in its entirety. After years of delaying and thinking twice of downloading it and putting other films in my queue before it, I finally watched it, and now I feel like Im one of the cool kids. Seriously, this film is crazy-good. I felt like there was no other movie like it during its time. Tarantinos (and Roger Avarys) imagination is astounding, and his ability to work his interests and inspirations into his films is nothing short of a gift. The details, the looks, the little quirks he gave his characters are too cool - Jules Bible verse, Butchs mild manner towards Fabienne, etc. And the dialogue! One word that comes to me is postmodern. And you may agree with me on this, Bruce Willis was the early 90s Brad Pitt/Channing Tatum/Ryan Gosling. Youll know what Im talking about when you see his bathroom shower scene.
