As a society, DCU MPS would like to thank everyone who was involved in anyway possible with this years DCUtv & Bank of Ireland 24 Hour Broadcast, all in aid of the Histiocytosis Research Trust. So many of our members were involved in organising one of our biggest society events of the year, with over 200 students involved and 2 months preparation beforehand. At the end of the day, the most rewarding feeling is knowing we managed to raise so much awareness and funds for such a great cause. THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our broadcast, helping us pass our target without question as we have currently raised OVER €4,500!! Please feel free to still give any donations you would like to at dcumps, as our donations page is still live! Finally, some well deserved acknowledgment must be given to our TV managers, Mark Kelly and Glenn Griffin, along with our societys Chairperson Jack Power, and Niamh Ní Ruarí who brought the HR Trust to our attention and worked incredibly hard to have this great organisation as our broadcast charity! More photos are on the way off all the fun and happiness that went on for the whole 24 hours, so watch this space! Love coming together to make super media content and help super charities? LOVE MPS!
