As a taxpayer, photographer, and visitor to our beautiful national parks I am outraged that this proposal, to charge people $1500., to take pictures in the park? Other than raising revenue I fail to see how this proposal helps anyone unless the goal is to cut down on the amount of traffic the parks generate. The idea that even if you take a cellphone picture you need a permit is ludicrous, asinine, and fool hearty....how are you going to enforce such a rule? You might as well go ahead and charge each car entering the park the $1500. since the majority of people today all take pictures of some sort.
