As a vendor I have been looking into this for the past while. But just to start with, the main reason why most juice makers do not make high or 100% percentage VG liquids, is because they feel that PG carries flavour better, and also that high VG liquids can cause wicking issues. From a vendor point of view, the reality is, is that apart from forums such as these where users are very well informed (better informed than myself!), most users just want to know that what they are vaping is safe, and apart from that they are not really concerned what percentage PG / VG their eliquid is. Having said all that, I do accept that there is a growing number of people who wish to vape 100% or high % VG based liquids. But I have been testing a few samples of 100% VG liquids over the past while, whilst trying to find a supplier, and reckon am getting fairly close, and dont yet wish to put an actual date as to when we will be stocking same - but it will happen. Thus far, I have been pleasantly surprised at how the flavour comes through - definitely smoother. Can I add a little bugbear of mine. So often, I read a post somewhere, where a newbie says they have started vaping, and since they started they can have any amount of health problems - headaches, insomnia, flatulence, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, itchy skin, dry skin, blurred vision, increased appetite, decreased appetite... the list is almost endless. To everyone of these posts there is always somebody who says it is the PG that is causing it and switch to VG. And although I completely accept that some people can have an intolerance to PG, I would think that in most of these cases, it is not the PG that is causing the problem. And finally finally, can I just add that although I vape 80/20 PG/VG myself mostly, I do prefer the concept of vaping a liquid that has its origins, grown in a field rather than synthesized oil.
