As always, please keep Asia in your thoughts and prayers. Here is an update: The lord said dont you worry everythings Cool...our little Asia is in OR getting stitches from an exposed wound on her head; it started leaking today its a tiny exposed wound where her shunt was placed in September. They were going to do surgery to replace the shunt but her immune system is too low. They did do a CT scan earlier but we have not yet heard the findings. They also have strong antibiotics going through her as well as morphine to keep her pain under control from the mouth sores related to chemo meds she received a week ago. They are also hydrating her through her broviac line to ensure she is getting the vitamins and nutrients she needs as she is unable to eat or drink anything due to the painful task of trying to swallow. I was just now informed her neurosurgeon will re-examine her in about 6-7 days as to whether she will be strong enough for surgery; she may not need the shunt anymore or may just need replacing. Please keep our little queen in your prayers. God hears and sees all and he is present here with her every single day.
