As always the City of Fallon 9/11 ceremony was worth attending. Im always privileged to be able to stand with the other First Responders. This year was especially memorable as we had a host of NAS representation (Im guessing about 40 servicemen and servicewomen) standing with us. Mayor Ken Tedford also read about a story I had not heard before - a Kamakazi mission that was initiated by the military to take down the jet that eventually went down in PA. Where were you when you learned of this tragedy? I was on a treadmill at the gym prior to working a shift when I saw the 2nd jet hit the Twin Towers. When I got home, my wife and I watched the first one collapse. It was 3 months before my first daughter was born.
