As another Lords day comes to a close, I pray that we went into His house and that we gave thanks to Him for all the great things that He has done for us in the days and nights that have past, and for the blessings that we know that He will give us in the coming days. Lord, we know that there are some that are going through some hard times, some that are in valleys and some that are climbing mountains that seem so high, but we also know that Your presence is always with us, and that Your hand is always stretched out for us to take, and to hold on to, and that at no time on this journey You are not with us. We thank You, for touching those that needed Your healing touch, those that needed Your comfort. We give You the praise for all things that You have provided. Lord,I do lift up to You each person on my prayer list, You know each need and each situation, I ask that You be with Sis Garrison, as she is getting ready to have her surgery tomorrow, that You ease the anxiety that she is having, give her the peace of mind, knowing that You will be with her, and that You lead, guide , and direct the surgeon, and nurses. I lift up to You the silent burdens on our hearts, and know that they too will be heard, and that You will answer as according to Your will. We, ask Lord, that You continue to be with our men and women in the Armed Forces, that You place a protective shield around them, where ever they may be, and keep them safely in Your care. Be with their families as the Holiday Season comes upon us, as they are giving up their loved one so that we may celebrate ours with our families. Lord, Your messenger said this morning that we needed to reach out to someone we know that may not know about You, what a great time of the year to help to spread Your word, just by letting them know that you care, and that God loves them, it doesnt matter the sin, God loves the sinner! If He didnt we all would be in trouble for we all sin every day, and fall short of what God wants us to be. But Lord, I pray that we each reach out to just one person, and let them know that God so LOVED the WORLD, that He Sent His ONLY SON, that WHO SO EVER BELIEVES IN HIM, WILL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERY LASTING LIFE. I pray that we tell our friends and loved ones, that we loved them so much, that there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to avoid, if they would just call on Your name. What a Christmas gift God gave us, What a Christmas gift we could give Him...the acceptance of His love in our hearts. And the peace of knowing where we will be going when You decide to call out our name. Lord, I ask that Your presence continue to surround us tonight as we lay down, and get ready to start a new day, and if You allow us to do so, may we be a blessing to someone. Lord, we want to give You all the Praise, the Honor and the Glory for all things, And it is in Jesus name we do pray. Amen.
