As anyone who knows me is aware, I support any Right To Die law, and whilst I feel sorry at what this poor woman has gone through, I completely and totally respect her choice to end her days painlessly and on her terms. The fact that people argue against this on the basis of either religious belief or a selfish desire to keep a person in their life for a while longer turn my stomach. If a person has a terminal or debilitating condition and wishes to end things peacefully, it should not be anything to do with you. Just to be clear, I am not advocating Suicide, as I do not believe that Euthanasia and Suicide are the same thing. If I was ever unfortunate enough to be in Brittanys situation, regardless of the law, I would do the exact same thing. The right to choose a peaceful end in the event of Terminal circumstances should be a universal right, and whilst I hate that people have to make that choice, I am proud of the fact that it is a choice for people like Brittany.
