As difficult as it is for me it is for you. Mount Vernon and beyond we must not let our dislike for certain people working on Noams campaign lull us into believing a vote for Rob Astorino will be better. Personally I like Rob, however that does not mean the cuts by his administration have not hurt Mount Vernon. It is no secret those in his campaign and some of his early supporters Steve Horton, Loretta Hottinger and yes even Kenny Plummer, the County legislator whom I dont care for at all. I do like Clinton and we will be forever friends regardless of what I think about his term as Mayor and whether we agree on everything or not. But no person is bigger than the City of Mount Vernon to me. I try to support who I think is the best for the City, regardless of whether we agree on everything or not. I believe Noam Bramson will be better for Mount Vernon, should he be successful we will all find out together. Noam is a friend, and a good and decent man. If we continue to let folks within and outside of our city to keep us fighting battles that are already over. The people of Mount Vernon will lose. My ego, which almost had me running for a position that I did not want almost had me supporting Rob Astorino, but as a Democrat whom the Mount Vernon Democratic City Committe has wholeheartedly supported in the past, serving as a district leader over 20 years and as Westchester County Dems Secretary over 10 years, even though pissed as Sh** over Ken Jenkins not winning the nomination, I am voting in the best interests of the City of Mount Vernon and that is for Noam Bramson for County Executive.
