As dog people for the past many years, we are finding that we need now to learn cat language. Perhaps my cat friends can help - The 4:30 wake up and meowing at the open cat door ... We think Georgia shuns going outside to use the bathroom in the rain. ??? The luring us to her dish at any hour only to see that there is still food in the dish - she must have fresh nuggets? Staring at me while I am trying to sleep? I have no idea... The sleeping ALL the time, except at 4:30 in the morning - pretty routinely??? She seems to want desperately to be near me but hisses when I pick her up. ???? She is clearly NOT a dog.
