As expected last night, I was not able to pull off the win. Unfortunately, Im in good company across the state. I would have accepted defeat ten times over to have Mike Michaud, Shenna Bellows or Emily Cain win in my place. Despite a hard fought battle everywhere, the national political climate seems to have taken its toll. I will cherish the small victories I earned, and know that in a different year the ground work would have paid off. An enormous amount of effort was put forth by others to help me, and I am so grateful. Thankfully, there are many more opportunities to continue making a difference.
