As expected the comments are rolling in regarding our surprise pregnancy over on the Today Show Facebook page. As usual most of them are very supportive but sprinkled amongst the well wishes and kind messages are the same tired and nasty comments that Sean and I have read many, many times before. Heres the ironic thing. Theres not a negative aspect of our journey that we havent already thought about, pondered, and made peace with. Weve also learned over the past five years that no matter what path one takes, or how noble ones intentions are its impossible to make everyone happy. Making everyone happy isnt whats important in life. Walking our talk; living with convictions rooted in kindness and love for others; and showing compassion for those that are hurting or are in need...well, thats what we try to do every single day. For those of you messaging us and reminding us to ignore the hatefulness, thank you. Please know were in a very peace filled place with our life choices, and weve been given the gift of perspective.
