As far as original music goes it is alive and somewhat well. Unfortunately club owners are very much exploiting those that want to do just originals. This garbage of hiring 3 or 4 bands to do shows and paying them literally nothing or giving them the door and a couple drinks damages the music business for everyone trying to make a living at it. And to be honest no matter how much most clubs say we support live original musicians they are just using everyone for low cost or virtually free entertainment to make money off of. It not only has hurt original musicians but it has hurt all those that play any type of music for a living. So please everyone support original music and most of all realize they are not getting paid crap so please make sure to visit their tip jars and support their art.....
