As good as yesterday was for me with the healthy birth of grandson number two, I did have one downer and tears shed when I drove by the location of the now defunct Spectrum nightclub located at the JAX Liquors location at University and Atlantic. Not only is this the place I spent countless nights dancing disco as well as hanging with my frat brothers and other friends, I also was introduced to my wife Betty there by a mutual friend. Remember the $.85 cocktails anyone? Gosh, I miss my silk shirts, heeled shoes and bell bottom pants!!
