As hard it is to believe, the guys next door are blasting, - TopicsExpress

As hard it is to believe, the guys next door are blasting, classic, rock. Of course I mean the derivative Eagles and Steve Miller Band hits that Bruno Mars or Lil Wayne or Seth Rogen told them to listen to. They play it as loud as they can, and sing along to it (whilst inebriated). I feel sick. The genre I consider myself close to, now popularized by the soiled soulless masses who listen to it because others do. Thats why everyone does everything, because other people do. They arent really sitting down and listening to music, but keeping it around as background noise for all the boys and girls who just complain when it music isnt there. What does it mean anymore if its just a standard thing to have in the background to accentuate studying and parties? I love music. I listen to it for hours, not surfing the internet, not while studying, just music alone. I try to emulate it. Even when Im not playing or listening I hear it in my head. But the Jimi Hendrix song I love they are listening to isnt music. Its a product they can say they own and show off to their friends. I woke up this morning, transformed into a cockroach. The cheese I used to eat no longer tastes good unless it is moldy and green. I am now in space, eating the maggots crawling on the once again pregnant Mother Earth. I have tasted them in the mind of the universe. I was not offended.
