As his last official action as Acting Surgeon General, RADM Boris Lushniak highlighted the history of the MRC network as part of the Office of the Surgeon General and recognized the immediate staff of the DCVMRC for their efforts. Civilian staff received the Surgeon General’s Certificate of Appreciation, while Public Health Service officers received the Surgeon General’s Exemplary Service Medal. CAPT Tosatto’s many years of service were also noted as RADM Lushniak presented him with the Surgeon General’s Medallion.
