As humans we recognise that we are in unity with all the living...but consciousness has no such distinction and recognition of higher and lower life forms...it only shows diversity within the unity of the wholeness. When we feel connected to all the life forms...within an ecosystem....to our pet, an old tree giving shade...or the thunder storm...the rains...the nature around us...that is the time...we have allowed our self...to be engulfed in the flow of vitality...in the wholeness... Also..when we become aware of the unbelievable intelligence that knits every cell in our body...it is no longer possible to say...that we own this body of ours that we claim so vehemently ...we now begin to see that...in a sense we do not own this life, yet we cannot help but be at the centre also. The sad point here is ...this level of separateness still seems to dominate our wholeness, which is why humans continue to look more into disunity and not the unity....
