As i embark upon another year in my life, I am still learning valuable lessons that life is teaching me. I am learning that no matter what you do, how you do it, whichever way you say it, you will offend somebody. And its not that they are offended, they just dont like it because you said it or did it. People will twist your words, your actions and even your thoughts and make them bigger than what they are. They will gather a whole bunch of peopke together and get them to see what you said or did their way. You may post or text something one way, but, they will tell other people you meant it another way. You may plan something for the good of all, but, some people will feel as though it is for the good of you only or to spotlight yourself. Some people may feel as though you have to choose sides, when really there is no tug of war going on. Some people jump to the wrong conclusions and then everything goes array and sometimes there is no coming back after all the false lies and accusations. People dont want to see the NEW YOU, they only want to see all the drama and petty stuff of your past. People often point fingers at others, but, yey they never ever look within themselves. They never ask themselves what are my faults and flaws. People close to you turn on you quicker than an enemy and then expect you to act as though they didnt just hurt your feelings a few weeks ago. I am growing into a new creature, not made by man nor will man destroy me. God picked me up and he promised never to leave or forsake me and he will always be by myside. The things that used to bother me, dont hurt me nomore. You see, i looked inside my soul at the woman in MY mirror and i asked God to change her. I asked him to create in me a clean heart and renew in me a right spirit so i can shake that old devil off. Thats why i dont fuss, fight, argue or entertain foolishness no more. I just simply stop, breathe, pray and walk away. So you may not forget what i was and who i was, but, God wiped my slate clean. God spoke to me and i said AMEN!!!
