As if how Beavercreek Police handled this situation wasnt bad enough, the footage of police questioning of John Crawfords girlfriend show blatant disregard for what happened. Crawford has a toy or airsoft gun in his hands. Based on the surveillance footage form the Walmart, he wasnt pointing it at anyone, nor posing immediate danger to anyone, and the police not so much as announced themselves and started firing. No one was hurt other than Crawford, who was killed by bullets of police assault rifles. Should Crawford have taken the fake gun out of the packaging? No, but police should have had the common sense to tell the difference between a toy/airsoft gun and the real thing they held in their arms. Maybe Im naive, but theirs some real screwyness going on with poilice departments and itchy trigger fingers, then making it worse by trying to justify it rather than admit a mistake. https://youtube/watch?v=NK63AZ8mZWI
