As in the marlboroughnewsonline.co.uk article we are applying for a Marlborough Area Board grant for Christmas lights switch on. If youd like to see a lantern parade and local acts given the chance to perform and entertain on the night, do tell the councillors who make the decisions. You can do that by emailing Andrew Jack (area board manager) on [email protected] or talking to the councillors directly (Stuart Dobson, Nick Fogg, Jemima Milton, James Sheppard). Of course you can turn up to the meeting which is Tues 30 September, 7pm, town hall. If the councillors believe Marlborough residents think its a good way to spend money, theyre more likely to say yes to the grant.
