As it becomes time to start thinking about voting in November, and/or filling in absentee ballots, its important that we start researching whats on the ballot.... Small but important fact... Governor Rick Scott signed into law, on June 16th, 2014, a law that allows for five medical marijuana dispensaries to be built and maintained within our state to grow and distribute medical marijuana for patients who are prescribed low thc marijuana to treat cancer, spasms, and seizures. Marijuana is currently illegal in all 50 states according to federal law, regardless of state law. Unlike other states such as Colorado, public use is still illegal in Florida, but medical use is very much so ALREADY LEGAL. Governor Scott signed medical marijuana use into law just a few months ago.
