As it is the 69th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, this is the first gallery I have uploaded to Flickr. On a trip to Poland in 2012, I visited Auschwitz & Birkenau and was shocked by the sheer size of these concentration camps used in World War 2 and the appalling conditions those people were kept in. This is the 1st time I have been able to show my complete collection of these images. Visiting these two places in 2012 has left me feeling that this should never happen again, but as time goes by , these terrible acts of genocide still continue in the world we live. Please take a moment to browse the whole image collection and see these two places through my eyes on my visit, some of these images might be disturbing, but this is real.
