As it sit here an think back over the last year for The Russ Bus family. It has been an amazing year with many ups and downs. We had our youngest at only one month old, presently have our oldest at 82 years old and we had our first friend die this year while homeless. We have grown to 14 campsites, whether that is good or bad. We have made a lot of new friends and help 100s of people. We are thankful for the time and resources that we were able to invest in each of their lives. Tomorrow we will pick up as many of our friends as we can and take them to Thanksgiving dinner at Russellville First United Methodist and spend time with them as a group. As we look forward to 2015 we are excited to announce that we will be breaking ground on a transitional living facility to house the working homeless in our area. This has been our dream and it is exciting to see things falling into place. At the present time we have an architect drawing our plans. When we have these and a few other items we can begin getting permits and start scratching dirt. This will be a community effort involving around a dozen local churches and civic organizations. We can not wait to present the plans to you when we get them. The we will raise the funds and raise the walls to protect those at risk in our community. Thanks as always to those who support us. Have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving.
