As long as human beings continue to judge--to label the people and experiences around them as good or bad--there will be suffering. When something is bad we feel entitled to push it away. I have learned through my own experience that we have the capacity to accept everything, including illness and dying, and that when we choose acceptance and presence, suffering comes to an end. Human dominance is not the victor. Being present with what is without judgment is how we overcome so-called adversity and make way for peace.
