As many Turks are trying to utilize non-government-run DNS servers in order to properly resolve the addresses of sites like Twitter or YouTube, they had been utilizing Googles public nameservers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4). Well, there are now confirmed reports that the Turkish government went from simply blocking/filtering these nameservers, to actually HIJACKING the nameserver responses entirely. (Meaning: who knows where they are sending people). The shared post, below, is from a Google engineer.
