As many know.. we are animal lovers. In the sea, on the land, in the yard, in our pueblo and in the house. For many reasons, but mainly that our business and travel lifestyle is not fair or condusive to having a animal companion, we cannot personally give any animals shelter or a home at this second. Sigh... a tough one. And now there is Camilla. She was brought to us about ten days ago. An absolute beauty. Those that knew Cruiser... she is the physical female version of him. A beautiful black lab, maybe about 7 years? And as sweet as the day is long. After our first meeting with her, she now cries and barks for us when her foster Mom brings her by the Cantina. It would honestly take this smart girl a week or two of good training to be the dog your family has dreamed of. We need to find her a home. We can probably get her to the states, but obvi a Baja Sur forever family would be best. Forgive me. She is just one drop in the bucket, one star fish in the sea. But she, like all of us matter. Please excuse the photos... her tail is wagging so hard I could not get a good shoot of her sitting still!! In the last two weeks our amazing clients have brought in over 250 kilos of requested items for the children of La Paz... this is just a personal S.O.S. for one of the four legged pacenos....Hugs....
