As many of us prepare for a long weekend, so do criminals. Remember if you are going out of town, leaving your home or office for extended periods, take those extra few minutes to check doors that are not used often ensuring they are locked, adjust climate control systems to prevent waste and/or freezing pipes, check and maintain external lights and give your alarm system a check to have the assurance it is operating properly.
