As many of you know, 4 Paws 4 Rescue has a litter of 3 lab pups - TopicsExpress

As many of you know, 4 Paws 4 Rescue has a litter of 3 lab pups that have been battling literally every canine disease possible since we got them in July. Small improvements and some set backs, closely monitored and medically supported by Murphy Animal Hospital with research and cultures done by Mizzou vet med. This last weekend I was preparing for the worst with Captain and thought the attached video could quite honestly be the last time Cara (my foster) and him reunite. So far, we believe as a result if the necessary medication he has been on to near his distemper, E. coli, pneumonia and everything else, it is likely the cause of muscle atrophy in his hind legs and simply doesnt have full strength to supporting his growing weight; much better than the alternate of losing entire sensation or paralysis. Whats awesome is that he and his siblings are showing improvement and growth and we are finally taking them off the medication. Cara has been off of them awhile and has only been doing eye ointments per the ulcers that caused optical damage, almost leaving her blind in both eyes with recommendation to remove them. Chelsea (now Elle) has sadly been showing signs of head twitching, neurological problems but we have a miracle boy, Memphis, that we know a distemper survivor can in fact be a happy, playful, very loved, deserving dog. With the help of donations, prayers and support weve been doing everything to care for these babies and provide them with as much supportive medical attention. After all, thats all we can do. Please keep our 3 babies in your thoughts and donate if you can. Donations can be made to 4paws4rescue via PayPal. Please way the the video to see Captain and Cara enjoying some outdoor fun with each other! (Dont pay attention to our verbal discussion!)
