As many of you know I suffer from pretty rough chronic illness, - TopicsExpress

As many of you know I suffer from pretty rough chronic illness, and on more than one occasion its proven to take over my life for days, weeks or months at a time. I have learned to push past it when I shouldnt and Ive learned to accept it when I should. Today I am completely out of spoons. I physically cannot move without being in agonizing pain, I can barely talk because my throat is so raw from sobbing. This is not what I need right now, but this has come from ignoring my bodys warnings for too long. The cold weather makes it worse and it really sucks that we got so cold so fast because people like me need time to adjust. Im not usually the type to spill personal things on Facebook but it needs to be said. Count your blessings, be thankful you can readjust your body and do something besides lay in bed and use 3 fingers to scour the internet for any remedies that might console your symptoms. I know I have work piled up on my desk right now and its killing me even more that I cant even get out of bed to stand in the shower or walk downstairs or put on my coat to go to work. A lot of you may judge and you may say that Im making a big deal out of nothing or that I should just suck it up- let me tell you, thats fine, you can think that way and I will hope and pray you never have to experience what I go through. If youve read this far, youre a true friend and I value you so much. Send good thoughts for me to get enough spoons to take a shower. Or so that I can go downstairs and let my dog out. Or even better- so I can go to work to make money to see a doctor to help me. For now all I can do is lay in bed and hope that Austin comes home quickly because I miss him and he makes everything just that much better. ❤️
