As many of you know, my husband is a 100% disabled veteran. Here is yet another example of the VA at work... We had to drive to the Lake City VA for Joe to have a CT scan. It is about 4 hours each way! The scan took about 15 minutes from arrival to departure! If the VA would give him a fee basis card, he could have gone to our local hospital which is 2 miles from our home. Its just unbelievable what they put him through sometimes! This is on top of his having to drive to TALLAHASSEE VA yesterday for an eye appointment and some lab work. Tallahassee is 2 hours from home!
