As many of you know my mother sadly passed away last week after suffering from Leukaemia over the last 18 months. She was an avid blood donor, having given over 100 pints in her own lifetime. The irony of the fact that she ended up receiving so much blood as part of her treatment was not lost on her. One of her wishes was to encourage others to donate blood so we have set up a facebook page in her memory to do just this. Please visit it and sign up to a donor session.
