As many saw, we visited MD Anderson this week for a follow up. While the news was not great, it was along the lines we expected since Ann has been off Chemo. The tumor has grown substantially and MD Anderson feels that there is no longer anything they can do, as the chemo presents risk much worse than the tumor. With that being said, we as a family decided that quality of life is much better than quantity. What is extra days worth if you are sick or in a hospital. Ann is comfortable, not in pain and actually enjoying the days spent with her care givers. We are starting the hospice process and will enjoy whatever time we have left together. The doctors gave an estimate of 2-4 months. but as we all like to say there is no expiration stamp on her butt, so we are going to enjoy life until our maker calls her home. We welcome any and all calls, visits. We will be back in the Southeast Texas area Memorial day weekend. Thank you all for the support you have given and will continue to provide for both Ann and our family.
