As millions of citizens gain coverage around the country, Rick Scott and the Republican-controlled Florida legislatures refusal to expand Medicaid has had serious, adverse health and financial consequences for many people and businesses in Florida. $51 billion in federal support and thousands of jobs have been lost, not to mention close to a million Floridians that have lost access to Medicaid services. Let’s keep the pressure of Gov. Scott to expand health care and make sure our economy works for everybody, not just the wealthy.
