As most of you know, I seldom write anything on Facebook but tonight I need to pay tribute to one of the most kind and gentle men I ever knew, my Dad. On Tuesday night before Thanksgiving, seven years ago, my dad died. He was our rock. He spent his life taking care of Mom who suffered with so much illness. He never complained but cared for her as if she was his precious jewel. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. I knew that he was not perfect but I think he was a close as one could get. I miss you Daddy and look forward to being with you and Mom in heaven someday.
