As most of you know, Im a licensced general contractor, but lately Ive had the improable task of burning some bridges. Friendship like bridges, are only as solid as their foundation, wether it be the emotional footings poured in the raging waters of turmoil and drama or the emotional piers formed in friendship based on tranquility and trust. One way to sever a friendship is to let it collapse from neglect. Another is to tire of continuously having to reinforce it with no help. Or to give up when you are the only person working on its purpose. Bridges require work by all participants. And if they dont realize the importance of the bridge from heart to heart, year after year, kick em off!
