As most of you know Pats salary from the Corp pretty much supports the hobby shop and that when he broke his chest last year at work his salary has literally been cut in half and he has not been paid by Work Comp since December. As you can imagine this has put an enormous strain on us and we just cant continue. We have to make some changes, so after Heritage Days we will be closing the shop. We are hoping to re-open in the Spring in a new location but Pats health will ultimately decide that. In the meantime we will be taking the show on the road literally. We will start doing shows and fairs, health permitting. Our items will still be available for purchase through our fb page and we will be making weekly deliveries to Warsaw. We will also continue to have our family fun days at the Harbor on Saturdays. This has been a super hard decision for us as we have put our heart and soul into the hobby shop, but we just cant continue. Besides the monetary problems his employer has caused, just even having the hobby shop has worked against us as that has also been used against Pat in denying his work comp claims. Its exasperating and frustrating but it is what it is, we will be down but not out!! We want to thank each and every one of you for your support, its been great getting to know everyone and to hear everyones stories of their favorite hobbies when they were young. As for the shop right now, we will be having some sales, come on in and see but most the models will be coming home with us as Pat has to have something to do while he is recovering from his upcoming surgeries!
