As most of you know, Paul & I are traveling to the Dominican Republic. :D A bunch of consultants are bringing items with us to give to a local school (159 kids - well worth an extra luggage fee). Would you like to help? We are taking ONE BIG suitcase that we will be leaving behind: They played with rocks and sticks as their bat and ball. They all want to be Manny Ramirez! Many do not even have shoes. So anything you give new or used is needed. Markers, glue sticks, crayons, markers, construction paper etc… Then clothing and SHOES, balls of any kind Medicine: triple antibiotic cream, band aids, cough medicine ibuprophen Any types of combs, brushes, bows clips hair ties, they are building a hair salon onto the school to teach a vocation to those who graduate, Used stuff is okay too! I live in Olathe & would be glad to make arrangements to pick things up OR you could drop things off on my porch. I would need to get things by Wednesday! Thanks!!
